Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your Voyagr account and the data that goes with it. Voyagr is made by Voyagr Travel Communities Inc. You can delete your account yourself in the app, or ask us to do it by email without installing anything.

Delete it in the app

Open Voyagr, go to your Profile and tap Settings. At the bottom of Settings, tap Delete my account, then tap Delete to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away. There is no waiting period, and it can’t be undone.

Want a copy of your data first? In Settings, tap Download my data before you delete.

Or ask us by email

If you no longer have the app, or can’t sign in, email privacy@appvoyagr.com with the subject “Delete my account”. Send it from the email address on your account so we can confirm the account is yours. We’ll delete it and reply to confirm within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, say so in your message and we’ll help you find the right account.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and profile, including your name, birthday, hometown, bio, interests and settings

  • Every photo you uploaded, removed from storage, not just unlinked

  • Your club memberships and any board role

  • Your direct message conversations, including both sides of each conversation

  • Every group message you sent

  • The people you blocked, and the push notification tokens for your devices

What we keep, and for how long

  • Safety reports other members filed about you. We keep the report, the display name you had at the time, and a one-way hash of your email address, so someone reported for harassment can’t clear their record by making a new account. The hash can’t be turned back into your email address.

  • Server logs, for 30 days.

  • Encrypted backups, which can hold deleted data for up to 30 days before they’re overwritten.
